1. What is LenderLink?
LenderLink is the Philippines’ first digital lender credit data exchange. We enable secure, real-time sharing of verified borrower records among participating institutions—designed to help lenders make smarter decisions, reduce fraud, and unlock underserved credit access.

2. How many records are available through the network?
LenderLink provides access to over 30 million borrower records contributed by digital lenders across the Philippines. These data include KYC and loan-level performance, updated daily for accuracy.

3. Who can contribute borrower data to LenderLink?
Financial institutions and digital lenders can join as Contributors. They submit hashed borrower information (e.g. phone numbers) via API or secure CSV uploads so the network can enrich the shared dataset.

4. How do Contributors submit data?
Two options are available:

  • Via CSV file (email or SFTP): Send hashed phone numbers formatted with country code +63 and hashing using SHA-512.
  • Via Contributor API: Build an authenticated endpoint to deliver encrypted borrower records and loan portfolio snapshots daily

5. What borrower information do lenders receive via the Consumer API?
LenderLink’s Consumer API returns detailed borrower profiles keyed by phone number, including:

  • KYC data (name, date of birth, ID type),
  • Loan history (open balance, overdue amount, last payment date, repayment history),
  • A match flag indicating whether records exist

6. What is backtesting and why does it matter?
Backtesting helps institutions estimate expected match rates and borrower coverage. Contributors can submit sample data (20k–25k rows) to evaluate data overlap and expected response rates before committing to integration

7. How often is borrower data updated?
Contributors are expected to upload data daily during a scheduled refresh period. Updates replace the previous dataset to ensure the system uses the latest borrower and repayment details

8. Does LenderLink support fraud detection or borrower verification?
Yes. By aggregating repayment histories and profile data across multiple lenders, LenderLink helps detect suspicious borrower behavior and reduce duplicated applications, enabling more secure underwriting.

9. Is LenderLink compliant with Philippine data privacy regulations?
Yes. All borrower data is hashed and encrypted, contributors only send de-identified data, and processes are aligned with the Philippines’ Data Privacy Act (DPA). Security and access controls are built into both API and file transfer flows.

10. How do lenders or fintechs get started with LenderLink?
Getting started is straightforward:

  • Share a sample dataset for backtesting.
  • Set up your Contributor or Consumer API credentials.
  • Begin daily submissions and start requesting borrower data through the API.
  • Access full profile or summary block responses to integrate into your credit or fraud workflows.
